Illustrations and Comics: Content Creation 101
This is the work I did for the Content Creation 101 zine, my final project for my Senior Design class. The process was, for the most part, a team up with me and my friend Avery on the illustration part of the zine. She would first draw the initial sketch, while I did the final line art, coloring, and text if it was a comic. There are some illustrations that were just done by me without Avery's sketches, such as the chibi versions of the characters, and the profile pictures of our group. For my finalized illustrations I decided to make them fun and lighthearted with bright color palettes with a mix of an anime and cartoonish appearance. The anime style is reminiscent of 90s anime, since our overall direction for the zine was to make it look nostalgic and retro.
